Myoporum parvifolium 'Purpurea', or Purple Creeping Boobialla, is a tough, fast-growing Australian native groundcover known for its dense mat of fine, purple-tinged foliage and small white summer flowers, excellent for weed suppression, erosion control on slopes, and low-maintenance gardens, thriving in sun and well-drained soil.
It spreads widely (up to 3m) but stays low (around 30cm high), tolerates drought, frost, and poor soils, making it a versatile choice for sunny spots, rockeries, and coastal gardens.
