Ficinia nodosa, commonly called Knobby Club Rush or Knotted Club Rush, is a tough, native Australian/NZ sedge known for its bright green, rush-like stems topped with distinctive brownish, rounded flower/seed heads (globular clusters) that look like knobs.
Previously classified as Isolepis nodosa, it's super adaptable, thriving in coastal areas, wetlands, and even drier spots, making it great for erosion control, native gardens, ponds, and pots, adding texture and structure.
