Anigozanthos spp. (Kangaroo Paw) red is a  vibrant Australian native known for it's unique, fuzzy red flowers on tall spikes, attracting nectar-feeding birds.

They thrive in full sun, well-drained soil (even tolerating some clay), need minimal feeding after flowering, and benefit from pruning old flower stems, offering drought tolerance and appeal for native gardens, pots, or cut flowers, with some hybrids offering longer flowering seasons.
